Reiki
Reiki (ray-key) is Japanese for Universal life energy. It is also a word used to describe a system of hands-on natural healing. Mikao Usui founded his tradition in the early 20th century and evolved because of his research, experience and dedication. Sarah received intonement and training in this method of Reiki.
Reiki is non-intrusive, non-manipulative and it does not diagnose.
It is a complimentary treatment working well alongside other conventional treatments or medicine and often helps to provide emotional support during recovery.
The method of receiving Reiki is simple. The recipient remains clothed and lies on a couch or sits on a chair and relaxes. The practitioner gently places their hands in a series of non-intrusive positions on or near the body. There is no massage or manipulation. The whole person is treated although specific areas, can be focused on. Sessions can take 45 minutes to an hour-and-a-half, depending on the client’s needs.
How can it help?
Each person experiences Reiki differently, depending on their individual needs at the time. Some people notice sensations during a Reiki treatment, such as heat, tingling, or seeing colours, while others may feel emotional shifts. At minimum, a sense of calm and deep relaxation is common, promoting well-being and balance.
How Much Reiki Might You Need?
The number of Reiki sessions required varies from person to person. For some, a single session may be enough to experience the desired benefits, while others might find that ongoing support is more helpful, especially in cases where emotional or spiritual issues have persisted over a longer period.
It is important to discuss your individual circumstances with Sarah. If you notice positive changes because of your treatment, continuing with further sessions can be a good idea to support these improvements and maintain your sense of well-being.

Weight management and eating disorders.
Yoyo diets and no success? low motivation or “hit a brick wall”? Have you thought of trying hypnotherapy? How can hypnotherapy work? Have you ever wondered why other weight loss programmes on their own have not been successful for you? If putting on weight was simply a case of enjoying your food too much, why is it so hard to lose weight? There are often emotional as well as physical reasons attached to our habits and compulsions. Hypnotherapy can help you become unstuck from the information keeping you locked into your habits.
During consultation I cover reasons, mindset, and support as well as the therapy. The consultation will include a pack and full assessment of what you wish to achieve. Usually 4 sessions will support your efforts, dependant on your situation.

Stop smoking.
Smoking cessation sessions are a full 2-2.5 hour. Part of the session includes a full consultation to assess your personal circumstances. The session includes a pack of information to take away. You will need to be ready to stop smoking and willing to work with me. This will be discussed at the consultation. A none refunded deposit or full payment will be required prior to the session.

Workshops may be available, dependant on the amount of people interested. These are a good way of making supportive friends and cutting down costs for the individual. Details of these can be found on Sarah’s Facebook page or contact to discuss.

Anxiety, stress and depression
A number of factors may influence these issues, such as traumatic experiences, menopause, hormonal fluctuations, inadequate sleep, career-related exhaustion, and various health issues.
Except for certain mental health disorders such as Dementia or Alzheimer’s, hypnotherapy can help address these issues.
Depending on your individual circumstances, two to four sessions are typically sufficient to help you achieve a more balanced and calm life. An initial consultation will include a full discussion and a questionnaire by telephone/e-mail.

Fears and phobias
If we are unaware of how our mind works, these issues are one of the trickiest to heal by yourself. Telling yourself or others telling you to “snap out of it” or try to remember where it all started, is both frustrating and impossible to do on your own.
Hypnotherapy can help you to access the part of the brain that will change your mind set and release your phobias from fear of flying, going to the dentist or leaving the house, among other things.
Dependant upon your circumstances 2-4 sessions will enable you to live a more balanced and less fearful life. An initial consultation will include a discussion and questionnaire usually via telephone contact.
